Beam Imperial Powerhead Update Kit - The Beam Imperial Powerhead has used more than one style motor. Because of these two style motors, Beam provides an upgrade kit. The original B1500 brush roller and belt are no longer available. With this kit, you get the new motor, brush roller and belt. The brush roller in a central vacuum powerhead is one of the most important, if not the most important component of a powerhead. A good brush roller ensures that the vacuum powerhead cleans and operates properly. When the brushes start to wear down and/or the belt needs to be replaced, the cleaning effectiveness of your powerhead is reduced. When these are replaced, your powerhead will then operate like new.
